Exhibition proposal

Your exhibition proposal, with the show already hung

Hang the works for your show in a gallery and see it from four spots. Then type what the show is about and your details, and download a proposal PDF: the show, each work framed and on a gallery wall, and a page about you.

For artists, curators and galleries pitching a show to a venue. The gallery is a photoreal picture made for situ, not a photograph of a real space.

Then add the next: two works without an account, up to 8 with a free one.

Questions

Frequently asked

What goes in an exhibition proposal?
Whatever the venue asks for. This one has a cover with the show and your name, a page with the show hung in the gallery and what it is about, a page for each work with its details, and an about page with your bio, recent shows and contact.
Do I have to write anything?
You type it: what the show is about, your bio and statement, recent shows and contact, and each work’s title, year, medium, price and artist. Anything you leave blank is left out of the PDF.
Is it the venue’s own gallery?
No. The gallery is a photoreal room made for situ, not a photograph of a real space. It shows the show at the scale the works really are; the venue’s own walls will differ.
Will the PDF go in an email?
It is made under 5 MB. If your works make it larger, the pictures are made smaller until it fits.
What does it cost?
Hanging your works, writing the words and previewing every page are free, with no account. Downloading the PDF needs Artist (£9 a month) or above. Nothing in it carries a watermark.
