Art mockups, without the Canva template
In a design tool, every mockup is a template: you drop the work into a frame someone else sized, one scene at a time. Here you upload the work once with its size, and it hangs in every room at once.

What changes when you leave the template
The steps of a template mockup, and what Situ.art does instead.
A frame you didn’t size
A template’s frame is a fixed shape, so the work is fitted to it. Here the work keeps its own shape and hangs at the size you enter.
One scene at a time
No opening each template and dropping the image in again. Upload once and the work hangs in every room together.
Shadows
A soft shadow falls behind the frame, away from each room’s light, so the work sits on the wall instead of on top of the picture.
Frames and mounts
Slim, box or floating frames in any colour, with a window or float mount. Pick once and every room shows it.
Sets and pairs
Hang up to eight works together, spaced evenly to fit each wall.

How it works
Three steps, about a minute
- STEP 01
Upload your work
Drop in a photo or scan of the painting or print. No account needed.
- STEP 02
Add its size
Width and height in centimetres or inches. It hangs at that size in every room.
- STEP 03
Download
Pick the room that suits the work and save it as a JPG with no watermark.
Why it works
Built for the art trade, not templates
Every room from one upload
No template to open for each scene. Choose from all the rooms side by side.
The size you give it
A small study and a large canvas look as different on the wall as they do in life.
Your work, untouched
Only the room changes. The painting is drawn from your own image, brushwork and all.
Free, no watermark
Try it with no account and download clean JPGs you can use anywhere, including in a Canva design.
Questions
Frequently asked
- Is there an easier way than Canva to make art mockups?
- For a painting or print on a wall, yes. Upload the work once with its size and Situ.art hangs it in every room at once, with its shadow and frame, so there is no template to fill for each scene.
- Can I still use the images in Canva?
- Yes. Download the room images as JPGs and add them to a Canva design for a post, a flyer or a listing like any other photo.
- Will my artwork be cropped to fit a frame?
- No. The work keeps its own shape, square, portrait or panoramic, and the frame is drawn around it.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Upload your work and see it in every room on this page with no account; without one you can add two works. A free account opens the full library of 730+ rooms and includes 5 downloads. Paid plans are for higher volume, and nothing on this page needs one.
- Will it change my artwork?
- No. Room images draw your work from the image you upload, never redrawn or repainted. AI only runs in the app when you ask it to change the scene.
- Can I download every room on this page?
- Yes, with a free account. You can see your work in all of them without one.
- Can I use the images commercially?
- Yes. You can use them for any purpose, including your website, shop listings, social media, a newsletter and print. There is no watermark on any plan.
