For artists at art fairs

Your art fair stand, hung before you pack

Hang the works you plan to bring on a 5 m stand, a 3 m back wall and two 1 m side walls, 3 m high, and see it from six spots in the aisle. Every view that sees a wall shows its works in the same place, so you can try the hang, see what fits and show people your stand before the fair opens.

For artists taking a stand at an independent art fair. For a gallery’s bigger booth, the editor also has 5 × 5 m and 9 × 5 m booths.

Applying to a fair? Make a proposal PDF with your works on the booth.

  3. STEP 03

    Download the set

Questions

Frequently asked

Is it a 3D booth planner?
No. It makes still photographs of the stand from where a visitor stands in the aisle, which you download and post or send. There is nothing to walk around and nothing to install.
Is the stand the same as mine?
It is built like a 5 m stand at The Other Art Fair, the common size at independent artists’ fairs: a 3 m back wall and two 1 m side walls, 3 m high. Fairs build their stands in different shapes, so check your fair’s floor plan. For a bigger booth, the editor has 5 × 5 m and 9 × 5 m booths too.
Will my works fit?
Each work hangs at its real size, so you see at once whether the back wall takes them all or one needs to go on a side wall or stay at home.
Does a work stay in the same place from view to view?
Yes. Each work hangs on a wall at a distance along it and a height, in centimetres, and every photo that sees that wall shows it there. Move it in one photo and it moves in all of them.
What does it cost?
Hanging the stand and looking at the views are free, with no account. Downloading the set needs Artist (£9 a month) or above. No view carries a watermark.
What are the views for?
Planning the hang and what to pack, telling your followers and collectors where to find you at the fair, and sending to a buyer who can’t come.
Can I change the hang later?
Yes. Your works and their places stay in this browser. Open the stand again to move a work, add one or take one down, then download the views again.
