Does Situ.art use AI to make the mockups?

Not the room images. Those place your own image in a library room at its size. AI is a separate step you choose, for changing the scene: adding people, furniture, natural shadows or another angle.

Can an AI edit change my painting?

It can, now and then, even though the AI is told to leave the work alone. On an image of one work, Restore puts your original back in one tap; on an image of several works or an angled view, keep the room image instead.

Will a close-up look soft?

Not the work: a close-up is drawn from your own image, so it is as sharp as the file you uploaded. A small phone photo gives a softer close-up than a good scan.

Are frames painted onto my artwork?

No. Frames and mounts are drawn around the edge of your image, with the soft shade a real frame casts at its edge. The painting itself is never retouched.
