Is the wall art mockup generator really free?

Yes. Upload a work, see it in 60+ rooms and download mockups without an account or a card. A free account opens the full library of 600+ rooms, keeps up to 10 works and gives you 10 AI images. You only pay for Pro (£29 a month) if you want 200 AI images a month and video.

Do the mockups have a watermark?

No. Every download is a 2048 px JPG with no watermark, with or without an account.

Do I need an account?

No. Try it with up to two works and 60+ rooms straight away. Sign up free to keep going, open the full library of 600+ rooms and keep your work for next time.

Can I use the mockups commercially?

Yes. Use them anywhere you sell or show your work: Etsy and other shop listings, your website, social media, advertising and print.

Will my work look the right size?

Yes. You type the width and height of the work, in centimetres or inches, and every room shows it at that size, at a realistic height, so a small print looks small and a large canvas looks large.

Can I add a frame and mount?

Yes, free, with or without an account. Choose a slim, box or floating frame in black, white, oak, walnut or any colour, with a window or float mount (mat). The frame adds to the size that hangs, and every room shows the work framed.

What if my work is too big for a room?

Turn on the Fits filter and you see only the rooms with a wall big enough for it. Nothing is shrunk to squeeze it in.

Which files can I upload?

JPEG, PNG or WebP. A straight-on photo or scan of the work, cropped to its edges, gives the best mockups.

Can I make a room that is not in the library?

Yes, two ways. With an account, type what you want in the editor, such as "change the room to a bright Scandinavian bedroom", and the room is remade around your work. You can also add people, furniture or more art, or change the camera angle. A free account includes 10 AI images. On Pro you can also upload a photo of any room, your own or a client's, and hang your work in it at its size.

How is this different from mockup template sites?

A template gives you one room at a time with a fixed frame your art is fitted into, whatever its size. Here you upload once and see the work in every room at once, at its size, framed however you like, then download the ones you want.
