Ways to show a photographic print
The framing and rooms photographers use most, all on this page.
Black frame with a white mount
The gallery standard for photographs: a slim black frame and a wide white window mount. It opens with this; change it in one tap.
Float-mounted or unframed
A float mount shows the paper’s edges, or hang the print with no frame at all for a cleaner, modern look.
Large prints
Type any size, up to a print that fills the wall, and it hangs at that size in each room.
Contemporary rooms
Plain walls, concrete, timber and plants: the rooms where photographs are usually hung at home.
Galleries
White-walled galleries, one with a visitor in front of the wall for a sense of scale.
Your file, untouched
The photograph is drawn from your own file, never redrawn or retouched. The frame is drawn round it, never over it.

Questions
Frequently asked
- How do I show my photograph as a framed print on a wall?
- Upload the photograph, give the print size, and choose a frame and mount. Every room on this page hangs it at that size; pick one and download it.
- Will it change my photograph?
- No. It is drawn from your own file, never redrawn or retouched. Only the room around it changes.
- Can I show a large print?
- Yes. Type the print’s size and it hangs at that size. Where a wall is too small for it, another room takes its place.
- Is it free?
- Yes. Upload your work and see it in every room on this page with no account; without one you can add two works. A free account opens the full library of 730+ rooms and includes 5 downloads. Paid plans are for higher volume, and nothing on this page needs one.
- Can I use the images commercially?
- Yes. You can use them for any purpose, including shop listings such as Etsy, your website, social media, advertising and print. There is no watermark on any plan.
- What size are the downloads?
- Downloads from this page are 1600 px JPGs. In the app, room images download at 2048 px, or 4096 px (4K) with 4K downloads switched on in Settings, your work drawn from your own image at that size.
