Where Situ.art is stronger

  • Nothing to design. Upload a photo of a work and its size, and it’s on your website. On FASO you upload each work into its control panel and build the pages.
  • Every work in a room at its true size on the one plan, for £9 a month. FASO’s View in Room starts at Silver, $25 a month.
  • More than a room: a person in view for scale, a close-up when your photo is large enough, and a walk-through video of the work in a gallery.
  • Nothing taken from a sale: buyers reach you through Inquire and pay you directly. FASO takes up to 10% of card sales through its checkout, depending on the plan.
  • Edit all of it on your phone. FASO withdrew its app.
  • Room mockups come with it: the same plan gives you 20 AI images and 2 AI videos a month and unlimited downloads for Instagram and listings.

Which should you choose?

Choose FASO if you want to sell through your site, send a newsletter and enter art contests from one account. Choose Situ.art if you want every work shown in a room at its true size, with a person for scale and a walk-through video, on a site that builds itself, for less.

Questions

Does FASO show art in a room?
Yes, on Silver ($25 a month) and up: a visitor clicks ROOM on a work and picks a room and a wall colour. A Situ.art website shows every work in a room at its true size on its one plan, with a person for scale and a walk-through video too.
Is there a cheaper alternative to FASO?
Situ.art is £9 a month, or £7.50 billed yearly, with every work shown in a room. It has no shop, newsletter or own domain; FASO has all three, from $15 a month.
Do I need photos of my work in rooms?
No. Upload a straight photo of the work and its size, and Situ.art hangs it in a room at that size, beside a person for scale, and walks a camera past it in a gallery. The work itself is never changed.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Your website is at situ.art/en/yourname. Put that link in your Instagram bio, your email signature or your own domain’s homepage.
How much does a Situ.art website cost?
£9 a month on the Artist plan, or £90 a year (£7.50 a month). The same plan makes your room mockups: 20 AI images and 2 AI videos a month, up to 30 works, and unlimited downloads. You can build and preview the website free first.
