- What size should art be above a sofa?
- About two-thirds to three-quarters of the sofa’s width. Above a standard 220cm sofa that means roughly 145 to 165cm of artwork, a large canvas, an A0 print in a wide frame, or a pair of works hung as one composition.
- How high should I hang artwork?
- Centre the piece at about 149cm from the floor, which is average eye level. Above furniture, also keep 15 to 25cm between the furniture and the bottom of the frame; when the two rules conflict, the gap wins and the piece sits slightly above eye level.
- Does the calculator work in inches?
